PLNU Downs Cougars to Win GSAC

GLENDORA, Calif. – Point Loma Nazarene, ranked No. 10 in the NAIA, clinched its second straight GSAC championship with an 8-1 win over No. 16-ranked Azusa Pacific Tuesday afternoon in Glendora. 
 
The Cougars, who were trailing Point Loma by just ½ a game coming into the match, finish second for the second straight year.
 
Junior Brianne Hahn was the lone bright spot for the Cougars, winning for the 16th time in 17 matches this year.  She won at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 over the Crusaders' Tanya Leontieff.

Azusa Pacific (No. 16 NAIA) falls to 13-5, 8-2 GSAC
