LA HABRA, CALIF. – Azusa Pacific kept its perfect GSAC record intact with a convincing 7-2 conference victory over Biola on Tuesday. The Cougars improved to 8-1 overall and maintained first place in the GSAC with a 6-0 conference slate.
In winning the first 5 singles matches, the Cougars did not drop a set. No. 2 singles Evan Dvorakova (6-3, 6-0), an All-GSAC performer of a year ago, and No. 4 Patty Guinto (6-2, 6-0) were impressive in their victories. In doubles, the pair were just as dominating, winning at No. 2 doubles, 8-1.
