Every Cougar Plays a Part in Sweep

SANTA CLARITA, CALIF. – All 12 Cougars played as the NAIA's No. 22-ranked Azusa Pacific used a balance attack and defense to sweep The Master's College in a nonconference match, 15-10, 16-14, 15-13.
 
Freshman Christy Kimmel led the attack with 14 kills in jut 26 attempts while sophomore T.J. Gause added 11 kills.  Nine different Cougars had at least 1 kill in the match.  Freshman Jenna Sagehorn, who had 8 kills, topped the team with 12 digs.
 
The win is the Cougars' third straight and solidifies their spot as a No. 4 seed in next week's regional playoffs.  Additionally, the victory is Azusa Pacific's sixth straight over The Master's.
 
With the win, Azusa Pacific improves to 21-8 overall while The Master's season comes to an end at 10-21.
