Cougars Torch Menlo

ATHERTON, CALIF. -- A hot-shooting Azusa Pacific sank 14 of its first 25 shots and rambled to an 83-52 win over host Menlo in the championship game of the Bud Presley Classic Saturday.

The Cougars were led by Justin Leslie, who sank his first 6 shots and finished with 14 points. Both Kevin Daley, who was seleced the tournament MVP, and Jeff Staniland pumped in 15 points. All-Tournament choice Justin Trott led Menlo with 18 points.
