Biography
1999 (Senior): Started every game but 3 . . . Scored in double figures in every game but 2 and led the team with 3 double-doubles . . . Finished fifth in the GSAC in scoring, twelfth in rebounding, and seventh in free throw shooting . . . In his Cougar debut, scored 16 points against Christian Heritage . . . In the first round of Sea Warrior Classic, scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds against Carthage (Wis.) . . . Against former UCLA teammate and then So. Cal College coach Cameron Dollar, Daley scored a 28 points and had 9 boards in front of a host of former Bruins and UCLA coach Steve Lavin . . . Tallied a career-high 33 points against Point Loma Nazarene and was named GSAC Player of the Week.
UCLA: Played the 1998 season for UCLA which advanced to the NCAA “Sweet 16” before losing to eventual national champ Kentucky . . . Played in 11 games, scoring 4 points against Kentucky and 6 more against Alaska-Anchorage . . . Made all 6 of his free throw attempts . . . Practiced with the 1997 Pacific-10 champ Bruins that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight, but redshirted . . . Current So. Cal College head coach Cameron Dollar was a teammate at UCLA . . . Was slam-dunk champion at UCLA’s past 2 Bruin Basketball Preview Days.
NEVADA: Played 1 season at Big West member Nevada . . . Appeared in 26 games, averaging 6 minutes a game, 2 points and 1 rebound.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at state power Artesia High (the same school that produced NBA players Ed and Charles O’Bannon) . . . As a 1995 senior, averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists and was named CIF and Suburban League Player of the Year . . . Garnered all-State first team honors . . .
