Cougars Earn Four All-American Honors at Outdoor Nationals

UEBLO, Colo.— Azusa Pacific Track & Field capped off the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with a flurry of podium-worthy performances, highlighted by silver-medal finishes from graduate students Lincoln Krog and Luisa Fischer in the multi-events at the ThunderBowl on the campus of CSU-Pueblo.

Krog and Fischer both delivered career-best scores to earn national runner-up honors in the decathlon and heptathlon, respectively, while Hannah Richardson and Olivia Alexandre joined them as All-Americans over the weekend.

Multi-Event Magic

Lincoln Krog (Stevenson, Wash.) etched his name into Cougar history with a career-best 7,639 points in the decathlon, finishing just 32 points shy of national champion Hunter Jones of Pittsburg State (Kan.). Krog's score makes him the first Cougar since Olympic gold medalist Bryan Clay to surpass the 7,600-point mark.

Krog was the model of consistency across all 10 events, placing no lower than seventh in any single discipline. He capped his decathlon with a strong showing in the 1,500 meters, clocking a 4:40.42 to finish second in the field and secure his third career outdoor All-American honor—his highest finish at a national meet.

Luisa Fischer (Miltach, Germany) matched Krog's silver-medal success with a lifetime-best score of 5,817 points in the heptathlon—good for the third-highest point total in Azusa Pacific history. Fischer dominated the javelin on Day Two of the event, leading the field with a throw of 47.04m (154-4) to vault her into podium position. The silver is Fischer's first career All-American finish in the heptathlon.

Cougars Stack More All-American Honors

Saturday's final day of competition brought more Cougar hardware. Senior thrower Hannah Richardson (San Ramon, Calif.) rebounded from a 10th-place discus finish on Friday by launching a 16.14m (52-11½) throw to finish as the national runner-up, earning her first career outdoor All-American accolade.

On the track, Olivia Alexandre (Rouen, France) capped a breakout season in the women's 800 meters, running 2:06.38 to finish fourth overall and collect her third career All-American honor as well.

Team Standings

Azusa Pacific's women's team earned 13th place overall out of 68 scoring programs—highlighting the depth and consistency of a team that delivered big on the national stage.
