AZUSA, Calif. -- Luis Solis, Leke Ademola, and Sohei Matsumori each earned a spot on an All-PacWest postseason team. Solis earned first team honors, while Ademola was named to the second team, and Matsumori to the third team.
All-PacWest First Team
Senior midfielder Luis Solis earned First Team All-PacWest honors after a standout season leading the Cougar attack. Solis started in all 17 games and logged 1,398 minutes, finishing as the team's top scorer with 10 goals and 3 assists for 23 total points. He tallied 3 game-winning goals, converted all three of his penalty kick attempts, and demonstrated sharp attacking instincts with strong off-ball movement and composed finishing in the box. His season was highlighted by a hat trick in a 6–1 win over Jessup, and he was recognized as PacWest Player of the Week once this year.
All-PacWest Second Team
Junior forward Leke Ademola was named to the All-PacWest Second Team after an explosive season in the attacking third. Ademola started in 14 of his 15 appearances, totaling 1,156 minutes, and ranked second on the team with 7 goals and 2 assists. He also recorded 1 game-winning goal. A strong, fast, and powerful forward, Ademola excelled in the air and constantly posed a threat inside the box. His physicality and athleticism allowed him to be a game-changer for the Cougars this season.
All-PacWest Third Team
Senior defender Sohei Matsumori earned All-PacWest Third Team recognition after anchoring the Cougar backline. Matsumori started in 10 of his 12 appearances and totaled 939 minutes, contributing significantly to the team's defensive organization. He recorded 4 assists on the year, offering composed distribution out of the back and helping initiate attacking play. Known for his calm presence and excellent ball-handling, Matsumori was a key part of the Cougars' defense.
