Azusa, Calif. - Azusa Pacific dropped a home match to #19 Hawai'i Hilo 1-0 after the Vulcans converted a penalty kick in the 80th minute.
How it Happened: The Vulcans had control of most of the first half, outshooting the Cougars 10-3. Hawai'i Hilo almost entered the half with a lead, as a shot ricocheted off of the crossbar and hit off Cougar's goalkeeper
Maddie Williams, luckily bouncing out of bounds for a corner kick.
The second half was more level, as the Cougars saw seven shots while the Vulcans took 11. As the match trended towards a draw, Hawai'i Hilo earned a penalty kick with ten minutes left in the game.
