Amanda Anderson was named the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference Female Swimmer of the Week for her efforts in Azusa Pacific's dual meet at Pepperdine. In her final dual meet of her career, she earned two first place finishes in the lanes.
"Amanda has been a huge part of our success for the past five years." said head coach Tim Kyle. "She raced extremely well at her last dual meet vs. Pepperdine." Kyle continued, "Amanda is the ultimate competitor and I am looking forward to seeing what she can accomplish at our conference meet."
In the 100 Breast, Anderson turned in a time of 1:07.41, which is a season best for her. She followed up with another first place finish in the 200 Breast, touching the wall at 2:22.92.
Heading into the PCSC Championships, Anderson is the current leader in the 200 Breast and 200 and 400 IM.
