ORLANDO, Fla. -- Azusa Pacific took a 3-2 lead over Washburn, but the Ichabods won two three-set matches to come from behind and win 4-3 over the Cougars in the round of 16 at the NCAA Division II National Championships on Friday at the USTA National Center.
The Cougars finish the season with a 22-6 record after having reaching the round of 16 for the fourth time in program history. Azusa Pacific also was the PacWest Championships runner-up and won the NCAA West Region play-in match against Concordia.
