HONOLULU, Hawai'i - No. 17 Azusa Pacific wrapped up its trip to Hawai'i with a 5-2 victory against Hawai'i Hilo on Sunday. With the win, the Cougars are 3-2 this season.

Azusa Pacific took the doubles point on wins from Leyton Bohren & Marko Nikoliuk at No. 1 (6-3), and Miha Velicki & Elias Emilio Walter at No. 2 (6-2). Bohren & Nikoliuk are now 4-1 together this season, while Velicki and Emilio Walter are 3-2.

The Cougars claimed the overall match victory on wins in four of the six singles matchups. Three of the wins for the Cougars came in straight set fashion, with Emilio Walter at No. 3 (6-2, 6-0), Velicki at No. 4 (6-4, 6-4), and Vili Bonev at No. 6 (6-3, 6-1). At No. 2, Marko Nikoliuk lost 4-6 in the first set, but bounced back with a second set 6-1 win, and a third set triumph of 6-2. 

Up Next: The Cougars return home this week, with a Friday (Feb. 17) match against Point Loma at 2:00 pm.
