AZUSA, Calif. - Azusa Pacific hosted the University of Indianapolis in a top-25 matchup on Friday. The No. 7 ranked Greyhounds took the match by the score of 4-1.
UIndy snagged the doubles point by winning two of the three doubles matches. The Greyhounds were victorious at the No. 1 and No. 3 slots. The No. 2 matchup was all tied up at 4-4, before the match went unfinished.Â
Nora Liga allowed the Cougars to avoid the sweep, as she won her matchup in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. The matchups on court No. 4 and No. 6 went unfinished. UIndy took the No. 2 contest via retirement. Liga's victory at No. 1 was the first singles match decided. Liga defeated Isabella Dunlap, who currently holds a No. 7 Division II singles rank. Liga improves to 6-0 on the season and is currently the third ranked singles player in Division II.Â
