FULLERTON, Calif. -- No. 9 Azusa Pacific suffered a setback at Division I Cal State Fullerton on Thursday afternoon, as the Titans claimed a 4-0 victory.

Cal State Fullerton's No. 2 and No. 3 doubles pairs opened the match by picking up wins to claim the early first point. At the time of the doubles clinching win in the No. 3 spot, Petra Ivankovic and Anna Savchenko were locked in a 4-4 battle at No. 1, but it went unfinished.

In singles, the Titans closed the match out with three two-set victories (No. 4, No. 2, No. 6). At the time of the match clinching win by Cal State Fullerton, Ivankovic was up 6-3, 3-2 at No. 1, Jack Wagner (No. 3) held a 7-6 (4), 2-2 advantage, and Madison Kane was in a good position at 6-2, 2-6, 3-1. 

The Cougars are now 7-2 on the year, with their only loses coming against Division I opponents. Azusa Pacific will now prepare for a rivalry match on Saturday, when it welcomes Biola for a 10:00 am start time.
