Emily Moran, from Folsom, Calif. (Vista del Lago HS), was a four-year member of the Cougar program. Moran appeared in 154 games in her career, starting 150 of them while totaling 108 hits, 60 runs scored with a career fielding percentage over .960. 

As a true freshman in 2016, Moran's first collegiate hit was a homerun against Cal State Monterey Bay on February 4th. Moran went on to start 43 games that season, and she put her body on the line for the Cougars, as she led the team in hit-by-pitch with 13. In her sophomore season, Moran started 38 games and for the second consecutive year, she led the Cougars in hit-by-pitch with 13. 

In her junior campaign, Moran started in all 48 games while recording a team-high 13 doubles. She hit a career-best .322 (46-143) and had a 10-game hitting streak during conference play on her way to All-PacWest third-team recognition. 

In her final season, Moran started all 21 games, leading the Cougars with two home runs while tying for the team-lead in runs scored (10) and doubles (4). Moran was also second on the team in hits (22), on-base percentage (.390), OPS (.883), and total bases (34). Moran finished her career in the same fashion she began it, with her final hit being a solo home run coming against Dominican on March 11th.

Moran also had continued success in the classroom, as she was awarded Academic All-PacWest honors in 2018 and 2019. She is set to complete her degree in Public Relations this spring.

In her senior year, she was hitting in the lead-off spot and an anchor in the infield at first base. She will undoubtedly use her talents that God has given her to change the world and leave a legacy in the people around her."
