Kat Ung earned her ninth win in the circle, where she held the Hawks to two runs in her five-inning effort.
Azusa Pacific's offense was led by seniors Illiana and Jenna Gorman who both hit 1.000 at the plate.
The Cougars gained an early 3-0 lead over the Hawks. The scoring campaign began when Illiana Jimenez scored off of Jenna Gormans single to left center. Once the Cougars got on the board, they loaded the bases and walked in twice.
