Turlock, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific wrapped up the weekend's Tournament of Champions with a 5-2 win over Humboldt State. The Cougars went 3-1 between Fridays three games and Saturday's single game.
The Cougars were scheduled to play a second game against California State East Bay. As the game entered the third inning, there was a lightning sighting so the game was put into a 30-minute lightning delay. Once all teams evacuated the field, it started to rain and the fields were later deemed unplayable so the final game of the tournament was canceled due to rain.
