AZUSA, Calif. – By virtue of their 4-0 win against Chaminade, the Azusa Pacific women's soccer team won their second straight and, once again, kept the Swords off the scoreboard.
In the midst of a brutal stretch to start PacWest play, the Cougars completed the second of a four-game in eight-day stretch. The Cougars have a 12-game unbeaten streak in PacWest home game.
GOAL BY GOAL – Katelyn Rogers scored her second goal of the season when she found the far post on a shot from the right side. Her goal in the seventh minute was assisted on by Stephanie Lossau.
The first goal of the second half was an own goal as a Chaminade defender's attempt to clear the ball went into its own net. For the Cougars third goal Lossau and Rogers teamed up again. Lossau put in a rebounded Rogers shot into the back of the cage in the 58th minute.
Kellie Yoshihara completed the game's scoring in the 80th minute. She toed the ball over the goal line after a free kick from Kelsey Lindor. It was Lindor's first career point.
QUOTEABLE - "Obviously, we didn't have the best non-conference results but ever since that last non-PacWest game we have decided as team to refuse to lose and so far so good." said junior Casey Thompson. "We have good chemistry going right now and our attitudes is great. We are really starting to bring things together."
SHUTOUT STREAK – By holding Chaminade scoreless, the Cougars have now outscored their foes from Hawai'i 23-0 in their six all-time meetings.

- Goalkeeper Isabelle Decker saw her first collegiate action when she replaced Zoey Bauman late in the game
