IRVINE, Calif. – Keeping things moving along in straight sets.
In each of the Azusa Pacific's win, they did so in convincing fashion as they posted a 7-2 win against Concordia on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cougars didn't drop a doubles match to help set the tone for the day. Oliver Frank and Pascal Engel posted an 8-6 win at the No. 1 double slot. Christian Schmid and Sheperd Newcomb took an 8-3 decision at the No. 2 position. The final doubles match went Antonio Pejic and Marnix Pluim's way 8-2.
Frank was the first singles winners at the No. 1 spot as he posted a 6-0, 7-6 win. Pluim, playing in the No. 2 singles positon for the first time, won a hard fought contest 7-5, 7-6 against Erik Witzlinger. Pejic (7-5, 6-4) and Roberto Luconi (6-4, 7-6) wrapped up the Cougar singles wins with triumphs at the No. 4 and No. 6 slots respectively.
Concordia was able to get wins by Daniel Reddmann and Thijs Hagen at the third and fifth positions.
After a day off the Cougars travel to San Diego for a pair of critical region match-ups against Point Loma and UC San Diego.
