ST. GEORGE, Utah – Despite a pair of goals from Lloyd Alexandar the Cougars couldn't get the win.
Dixie State scored five times as they won the season finale for both squads 5-2 on Saturday evening.
With the setback the Azusa Pacific seasons closes with a 6-10-1 record while Dixie State ends with a 11-5 mark.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Alexandar started the scoring in the fourth minute when he got a feed from Arturo Astorga from the right side and dove for his shot from 15 yards out. It is his first goal since joining the program last season.

Andrew Boyd, looking for a goal in his only season with the Cougars, nearly tied the score at two but his shot nicked off the post late in the first half.
The home team built on their lead just after halftime with goals in the 53rd minute and 67th minute after Jandir Prota and Bryan Baugh found he back of the net.
Down 4-1, Alexandar scored again off a deflection in the center of the box. Bruno Pagani earned an assists on the play.
