BELMONT, Calif. -- The Azusa Pacific women's soccer team completed a perfect 2-0 road trip to the Bay Area with a 4-0 shutout of Notre Dame de Namur on Monday afternoon. Azusa Pacific is now 5-0-2 in conference play and 5-3-2 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED -- Azusa Pacific was able to score two goals per half, thanks to Randi Macadangdang. The freshman midfielder continued her dominance on the field, scoring first in the 18th minute of the game and again just one minute into the second half.
The seniors also showed their experience on the field. In the 29th minute, Katelyn Rogers was able to get around the defenders to deposit the Cougars' second goal of the first half. With just a minute and half left in regulation, Allison Pepper, with an assist from Briana Haskins, chipped in Azusa Pacific's fourth and final goal.
