Sarah Klinkenberg made three saves to post her fifth shutout of the season and the 25th of her Cougar career. The senior moves into the fourth place tie in school history for the most career shutouts.

On the other end of the field, Hayley Williamson scored her third goal of the season in the 27th minute. The senior corralled a loose ball at the top of the box and was able to loft the ball over the goal keeper and just underneath the cross bar.

During a sometimes frantic second half each team had chances to score a goal but a combination of solid defense and mistimed opportunities kept the final 45 minutes scoreless.
