CLAREMONT, Calif.-- The Azusa Pacific women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie on Monday night against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The match was the team's second consecutive overtime contest, but the first non-win of the season.
The Cougars (3-0-1) registered 16 shots, seven on goal, and allowed just two shots from the Athenas. Senior goalkeeper Alexa Douglas registered Azusa Pacific's second straight shutout, and her first of the year.
Junior forward Natalie Sun tallied six shots in the match, while Amanda Hardy and Natalie Nick had two apiece.
The next game for the Cougars will be a home matchup with Holy Names University at 2 p.m. at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
