FULLERTON, Calif. -- Hope International was looking forward to testing its new look roster against a formidable foe in top-ranked Azusa Pacific. The end result was a more difficult match for the Cougars but, ultimately, still a 9-0 blanking of the Royals, Tuesday afternoon in Fullerton.

The Cougars ran the table getting impressive wins from Boris Bakalov and Justin Green. Azusa Pacific ran its record to a perfect 6-0.

“Both teams played well today and Hope International is a much improved team but our guys were up to the challenge today,” said head coach Mark Bohren.
