GLENDORA, Calif. -- The NAIA's No. 7-ranked Azusa Pacific swept visiting Alliant International, 9-0, Wednesday afternoon at the Glendora Racquetball Club. The victory ends Azusa Pacific's 3-match losing streak.
The Cougars dropped just one set in singles play after taking all three doubles point to start the match. Sophomore Simon Bieri won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles to push in individual record to 20-3 on the season.
With the victory, the Cougars improve to 15-9 on the season.
