Sea Warriors Shut Out APU

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Hawaii Pacific, ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division II, stopped the NAIA's No. 7-ranked Azusa Pacific, 9-0, in Honolulu today. 
 
The Cougars were once again without their usual No. 1-player Benny Lin, who is nursing a sore knee, and they were also without the services of No. 3 Simon Bieri, who hurt his foot earlier in the week.  Bieri played doubles but was unable to play singles.  He is expected to play Tuesday against the University of Hawaii.

Azusa Pacific (No. 7 NAIA) drops to 14-7.
Hawaii Pacific (No. 4 NCAA DII) improves to 12-4.
