Gregoire Diep enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Azusa Pacific men's soccer program in 2026 after joining the coaching staff in 2025.
A four-year standout midfielder for the Cougars from 2018-22, Diep enjoyed one of the most decorated careers in program history. He earned United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America honors in 2021 before adding D2CCA First Team All-West Region and First Team All-PacWest honors in both 2021 and 2022. During his senior season, he played every minute of every match while leading the Cougars with nine goals and two assists, recording three game-winning goals and a hat trick against Hawai'i Pacific. He finished his collegiate career with 24 goals and eight assists while earning four All-PacWest selections and multiple Academic All-PacWest honors.
Academically, Diep graduated from Azusa Pacific with a bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2021 before earning his master's degree in 2022.
Following graduation, Diep continued his playing career professionally in Germany while also gaining coaching experience there. After returning to Southern California, he rejoined his alma mater as a member of the Azusa Pacific coaching staff in 2025.
A native of Munich, Germany, Diep brings both international playing experience and a deep understanding of the Cougar program to his role, helping develop the midfield while mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field.
