2021 (COVID-abbreviated season): Saw action in all eight matches for the Cougars...Collected a team-leading 16 goals, with eight assists and 11 steals...In the Cougars home victory against LMU, scored four goals on six shots, with two assists, six points and two steals. 

2020 (sophomore- season shortened due to COVID-19): Appeared in 13 of the Cougars’ matches… Scored 22 goals… Led the team with 13 steals… Scored three goals against Cal State East Bay (01/31/2020) … Scored five goals against Ottawa University (01/17/2020) … ACWPC Division II First-Team All-American for the second consecutive year… GCC All-Academic honors.

2019 (freshman): Played in 32 games… Led Cougars with 48 goals and 16 multi-goal games… Her 16 multi-goal games tied her for fourth in multi-goal games in a season… Scored five goals against Concordia (4/5/19)… Posted shooting percentage of .444… 33 drawn exclusions… Led Cougars with 34 steals… six blocks… Named ACWCP First-Team All-American… GCC All-Freshmen Team… All-GCC Honorable Mention… ACWCP Excellent All-Academic… GCC All-Academic.

Schurr High School (2017-2018): Graduated from Schurr High School… Competed on the varsity swimming and water polo teams for coach David Argumosa for two seasons… As a junior, she helped lead SHS to the CIF Southern Section Divison II Championship in water polo… As a junior in swimming, she took 6th in CIF Southern Section Division II in 500 Freestyle and set the Schurr school record in the same event… In 2018 as a senior, she was named All-CIF in water polo… As a swimmer in 2018, she placed fifth in CIF in 500 Freestyle, broke her own school record in the 500 Free, and set a league record in the 200 Freestyle.

International Career: (2018) … Member of Puerto Rico National Team that placed 2nd in the Central American Games in Barranquilla, Colombia … Member of 19u Team Puerto Rico that competed at the U.A.N.A Junior Pan Am, she was the Women’s Top Scorer... (2017) … Member of 17u Team Puerto Rico that competed in the U.A.N.A Junior Pan Am in Peru… (2016) … MVP and top scorer for 16u Team Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Amatuer Confederation Games… Member of 19u Team Puerto Rico at the U.A.N.A Junior Pro Am (2015) … Member of Team Puerto Rico 15u teams in swimming & water polo for Central American and Caribbean Amateur Confederation… Team Puerto Rico 17u U.A.N.A Junior Pan Am.

Personal: Born April 11, 2000 in San Juan, Puerto Rico… Daughter of Roberto Guzmán and Lillian Ortiz… Has two older brothers, Roberto Jared & Robert Yeriel… Studying kinesiology at Azusa Pacific… Enjoys going to the beach and visiting tourist sites in her free time.
