High School: Played varsity baseball for two years at Burlingame High School under head coach Shawn Scott... Was an outfielder and captained the team as a senior... As a junior, had a .299 batting average with 13 RBIs, 10 runs, and four extra-base hits... Was an all-league honorable mention... As a senior, had a .358 batting average and was a first team all-league selection... Against Carlmont, went 3 for 4 with a double and three runs scored... Was named team MVP.
