Azusa Pacific University Athletics

THIS YEAR: Junior Lilly Knight enters her second season at Azusa Pacific looking to take on a larger role for the Cougars … Expected to compete for increased playing time and make a greater impact over the course of the season.

2025 (sophomore): Appeared in 2 matches as a 2025 sophomore, coming off the bench both times … On the season, played in 2 sets and tallied 1 kill on 7 attempts with no errors … Finished the season with a .143 attack percentage … Scored her lone point of the season with a kill against Biola. 

LIFE PACIFIC: Played the 2024 season for Life Pacific, an NAIA program in San Dimas (Calif.)…played in 27 matches her freshman season, starting in 14. Tallied 174 kills in 85 sets, with 52 total blocks and a hitting percentage of .194…Best outing came in a GSAC sweep over Hope International, where she produced 10 kills and 4 blocks in a 3-set sweep. She tied for the match lead with 10 kills in that same game… Also had 6 kills and 3 blocks in a Life Pacific sweep against Westcliff… received the GSAC Freshman of the Year Award. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered all 4 years at Sam Barlow High School (OR) playing under head coach Jessie Mott... was honorable mention all-conference her freshman year… received 2nd Team All-Conference and All State honors her junior year… received Player of the Year honors in the Mt. Hood Conference… played for Northwest Elite under coach Nathan Blankenship… was also the Valedictorian of her graduating class. 

PERSONAL: From Gresham, Oregon…Birthday is April 10th… Parents are Cory and Kristen Knight… has two sisters (Addi and Evie) and one brother (Camden) … Studies Business Management and knows sign language.
