Now a senior, Abdur-Rahmann returns as a highly efficient veteran presence for Azusa Pacific. He established himself as a sharpshooter during his junior season, connecting on an impressive 50% of his three-point attempts (12-for-24) and shooting nearly 48% from the field overall. Although his minutes were limited last season, his production per minute was elite, and his reliability at the free-throw line (80%) makes him a trustworthy option in tight situations. Look for Deen to take on an expanded leadership role this year, providing spark-plug scoring and perimeter spacing for the offense.

Deen joins the Cougars after a stint at Pasadena City College. Before the collegiate level, he was a history-making player at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) in New Jersey, playing for Head Coach Larry DiGiovanni.
While playing for the Redhawks, Abdur-Rahmann achieved significant milestones:
