THIS YEAR: Junior setter Brooklyn Kostoff comes back to Azusa Pacific after briefly transferring to Norfolk State, returning to APU as classes started for the fall … Will spearhead the Cougars offense … Is very skilled and smart about the game ... Noted for her ability to move the pace of the game and rely on her good court vision … Has never missed a match during her APU career, starting 52 consecutive matches entering the 2026 campaign.
2025 (sophomore): Started all 25 Cougar matches as a 2025 sophomore, appearing in all 92 sets … Finished the season with a team-best 630 assists (6.85 assists/set) … Also had 18 aces … Tallied a career-high 56 assists in a conference-opening 5-set win at home over Menlo … Had 49 assists the prior match, a 5-set win on the road over Cal State Monterey Bay … Registered a season-high 16 digs in a 5-set loss to Westmont.
2024 (freshman): Appeared in 27 matches for the 15-12 Cougars, finishing with a team-best 821 assists (8.13/set) … Was second on the team with 222 digs (2.20/set) … Tallied a season-high 50 assists in a 4-set victory over Academy of Art … Had a career-high 22 digs in a 5-set loss to Alaska-Fairbanks
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 years of varsity high school volleyball, 2 years at El Toro High in Lake Forest, Calif., and then the final 2 years at Santa Margarita Catholic High in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. ... In 63 matches playing for Head Coach Katy Daly at Santa Margarita, produced 1,828 assists (10.2 per set) to go along with 246 digs while directing an Eagle program that was 37-25 and 2 CIF Southern Section playoff appearances ... Was a 2-time All-Trinity League selection ... As a 2021 sophomore at El Toro, led the Chargers to the CIF Southern Section Division III championship and a 20-8 record ...
