THIS YEAR: Senior Brooke Bunker returns for her second year in the program to lead what could prove to be a dynamic Cougar offense ... Hoping to parlay a strong end to last season into a lead role this year ... Will vye for primary setting duties with sophomore Trinitee Carroll and freshman Brooklyn Kostoff.
2023: Transferred into Azusa Pacific and emerged as a key setter 3 weeks into the season ... Averaged 4.35 assists per set over the course of 28 matches and 94 sets played, but averaged 4.88 assists over the final 73 sets (20 matches) of the season ... Had 20 or more assists in 6 matches ... Tallied 57 assists in back-to-back 5-set victories over Concordia and Fresno Pacific, including a season-high 29 at Fresno Pacific ... Registered 26 assists and 13 digs in a 4-set win at Academy of Art ... Had a season-high 14 digs in a 5-set win at Concordia.
MOORPARK: Played 2 seasons of community college volleyball at Moorpark (Calif.) College where she appeared in 37 of the Raiders' 48 matches during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, for head coach Adam Black ... As a 2022 sophomore, was the Raiders' primary setter, averaging a Western States Conference-leading 10.74 assists per set to go along with 3.5 digs ... Earned herself a spot on the All-State CCCAA team and First Team All-Conference ... Registered 17 matches with 30 or more assists, including a whopping 50 assists in 5-set victory at Bakersfield ... Had 48 assists in a season-opening 4-set victory at El Camino ... Had 34 assists and a career-high 24 digs in a 5-set win over Santa Barbara ...
