THIS YEAR:  Sophomore middle blocker Briana Sardo returns after showing significant improvement through spring practices … A strong jumper who hits a high ball, has also improved her footwork … Will compete for consistent time at the middle blocker position.  2006 (Freshman):  Appeared in 12 matches, all in the final 16 matches of the season … Registered a kill in her first collegiate action, a 3-game sweep over San Diego Christian … Appeared in 2 of the Cougars’ 3 NAIA Tournament contests. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 4 seasons of varsity volleyball for head coach Josh Fisher at Park City (Utah) High … Was team captain as a 2005 senior. 

PERSONAL:  Born June 17, 1988, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Greg and Keara Sardo … Majoring in business administration … Has 1 brother.
