THIS YEAR:  All-American and conference champion Luisa Fischer returns as one of the most decorated multi-event athletes in Azusa Pacific history … A nationally-recognized heptathlete and javelin specialist, who continues to anchor the Cougars’ multi-event corps while contributing points across hurdles, jumps, and throws … Enters the year with elite PRs including 5817 in the heptathlon, 4006 in the pentathlon, 50.14m in the javelin, 1.78m in the high jump, 13.51m in the shot put, and 25.66 in the 200m.


2025 (Senior):Enjoyed a breakthrough year in her multis career, finishing second in the Heptathlon (5817) at the NCAA DII championships, a lifetime best and one of the top marks in Division II history, winning the high jump (1.78m/5’10:) and the javelin (47.04m/154’4”) … Was 12th in the Javelin (44.79m) … At the PacWest Championships in Fresno, won the javelin with a conference-record heave of 50.14m (164’6”) and finished fourth in the shot put (12.86m/42’2¼”) and fifth in the high jump (1.56m/5’1¼”) to help lead the Cougars to their ninth straight conference crown … At the NCAA Indoor Championships, placed 5th in the pentathlon (3902) thanks in part to winning the high jump at 1.71m (5’ 7¼”) while also posting 13.42m (44’0½”) in the shot put .. Won the Silver State Invitational pentathlon with a career-best 4006, including a 13.51m shot put victory … Other 2025 Performances included a 47.15m (154’8”) javelin victory at the Vince O’Boyle Invite, a 5616 heptathlon to finish fourth at the Bryan Clay Multis.

2024 (Junior):  Progressed significantly in the high jump and throws throughout the indoor season, clearing 1.69m and posting 12.50m–13.23m range marks in the shot put … Competed at multiple New Mexico and Maverick Premier meets, showing steady improvement leading into 2025.

2023 (Sophomore):  Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, competing in the high jump and multis … Season included marks of 1.65m in the high jump and continued development across all heptathlon events.

2022 (Freshman):Immediately established herself as a national-caliber multi-event athlete, earning USTFCCCA DII Outdoor Second Team All-American (javelin), USTFCCCA All-Region in the heptathlon, javelin, and high jump … Was the PacWest champion in the javelin (45.18m/148’3”) and earned All-PacWest recognition in the high jump … Qualified for the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships in the hepathlon, scoring 4,237 point.

Nevada:  Originally signed and competed at the University of Nevada, Reno … Appeared in 3 outdoor meets as a 2021 freshman, logging a personal best of 39.62m (132’) in the javelin at the J. Fred Duckett Meet at Rice University.

HIGH SCHOOL – Went to Benedikt-Stattler-Gymnasium in Bad Kötzting, Germany ... Was a 12-time Bavarian Champion in multiple events which include the Pentathlon in both 2017 and 2018 while also earning the honor in events like the long and high jumps ... Some individual statistics in field events include a height of 1.69m in the high jump, a distance of 5.58m in the long jump, 42.73m in the javelin, and 12.43m in the shot put. 

PERSONAL: Born in Miltach, Germany … Daughter of Josef and Susanne Fischer ... Has one sister named Pia … Was one of Bavaries most accomplished junior multi-even athletes … Is a graduate student in Master of Arts in Leadership, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Azusa Pacific … Is a certified strength & conditioning specialist (CSCS), and corrective exercise specialist (CES).
