Azusa Pacific University Athletics

PRIOR TO AZUSA PACIFIC: Perkins is a multi-talented student-athlete with experience in track, cheer and is currently (2021) Miss Teen Universe USA. As an athlete, Perkins was a qualifier in the CIFSS Division 3 prelims and won her school’s varsity track rising star award. She’s a former varsity cheerleader and was the recipient of her school’s cheer MVP. Academically, Perkins was on the Principal’s honor roll and is a Dean’s List member at Azusa Pacific as a Broadcast Journalism major. Perkins was the former Miss Teen California and even has professional experience as the lead anchor for Channel 6 KBEV. Was one of three students from her high school that was given the David Heiferman Memorial Award and she will be competing for Miss Teen Universe in Dubai in 2022.
