2016 (offseason) : Johnson was seeded fourth in the ITA West Regional championships where she won three matches before losing to Klara Thell-Lenntorp of Academy of Art 6-0,6-3... The duo of Johnson and Lisa Schneider, seeded second in the tournament, won their first match of the weekend against Holy Names' Julia Golub and Amandine Clouvel 8-0. After their opening win they moved onto beat J'Ana Diamond and Ebone Qualls of Stanislaus State in the round of 16, 8-2... The Cougar tandem continued their winning run, beating Concordia's Samantha Schuster and Johanna Keeline 8-1. It wasn't until they ran into third seeded Nozomi Matsuoka and Kayleigh Hall of Cal State Los Angeles, they saw trouble and dropped an 8-3 decision in the semifinals.
2016 (junior) : Went 9-6 in singles and 9-11 in doubles in all of her matches she was in the No. 1 position... She beat No. 28 nationally ranked Kyra Scott of No. 18 UC San Diego 6-3, 6-1... Upset regionally ranked No. 18 Sue Ghosh of No. 6 Amherst College 6-0, 6-0... Partnered with Lisa Schneider she beat Regionally ranked No. 5 Jensyn Warren partnered with Jordan Kearney of Sonoma State 8-3... Finished the year ranked No. 12 in singles in the West Region... Ranked No. 7 in the West Region in doubles partnered with Schneider... earned All-PacWest second team honors.
2015 (offseason) : Won the USTA/ITA West Regional and took fifth place at the national tournament in the fall... Was the No. 3 seed at the regional tournament and won five consecutive matches to claim the title... Defeated home favorite No. 2 seed Nozomi Matsuoka in the final 6-2, 6-2... Upset No. 1 seed Kyra Scot in three sets in the semifinals... Also defeated No. 5 seed Nikki Newell in the quarterfinals... Reached the semifinals in doubles of the regional tournament... Won two of three matches at the national tournament, which featured the eight regional champions... Both wins were by a score of 6-3, 6-1 over players from St. Mary's and Mercyhurst, including Saioa Gomez de Segura, who finished the 2015 spring season ranked nationally.
2015 (sophomore) : Played all of her singles and doubles matches at the No. 1 position, compiling a combined record of 27-17... Was ranked as high as No. 17 in the country for singles... Played 11 matches against players that finished the season ranked nationally and won five of those matches... Defeated Concordia's Ivana Vlakic, who finished the year ranked No. 10 in the NAIA 6-3, 6-1... Earned a straight-sets victory over Clara Perez from No. 1 ranked Armstrong State, who finished the year ranked No. 12, 7-6, 2-6, 10-4... Took out the No. 23 player in the nation Nina Gajdosikova from No. 11 Academy of Art, 6-4, 6-4... After the Cougars' first seven matches, had a combined record of 11-3 in singles and doubles... Was a second team all-PacWest selection for singles and a third team all-conference choice for doubles... Finished the year ranked No. 40 in singles nationally and No. 8 in the West Region.
2014 (offseason): Reached the semifinals of the USTA/ITA West Regional as the No. 6 seed... Reached the quarterfinals with two wins over players from Dominican and Sonoma State... In the quarterfinals, defeated No. 3 seed and Academy of Art's No. 1 Nina Gajdasikova 6-0, 6-2... In doubles with Danae Ingwaldson, advanced to the semifinals, where the pair fell to the eventual champions from BYU-Hawaii, who were also the two singles finalists... Is now ranked No. 28 in the nation in the ITA preseason poll and is ranked No. 17 in doubles with Ingwaldson
2014 (freshman): The first Cougar since 2006 to record 20 singles wins in a season, going 18-4 at No. 2 singles and 2-0 at No. 3 singles... Went 21-8 in doubles, including 11-3 at No. 1 doubles with Emily Harris... In the Cougars' 5-0 win over Dallas Baptist in the semifinals of the NCCAA Championships, became the first Cougar along with Harris to record 21 doubles wins in a single season... In total, her 41 wins between doubles and singles is a Cougar record after four players had reached exactly 40 wins between 2004 and 2006... In her first match at No. 2 singles, claimed a 6-2, 6-4 victory to give the Cougars a 5-4 win as a team... Against Lewis, beat the No. 13 player in the nation Zsofia Lanstiak, 6-2, 6-2... Finished the season on a seven-match winning streak
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letter winner in girl's tennis, playing one season at South Hills High School in West Covina, Calif., and two seasons at Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, Calif. ... Was a member of Glen A. Wilson's first-ever CIF Division V championship in 2011 ... Won the Valle Vista League singles championship as a senior, earning the San Gabriel Valley Tribune's Player of the Year honor ... Made it to the Round of 16 in the CIF championship tournament ...
