2022: Redshirted the 2022 season.
2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 singles matches and finished the season with a 6-5 record (No. 6: 5-5 | No. 5: 1-0)... Opened the year with three consecutive straight-set victories, including a 6-1, 6-3 win over Colorado Mesa at No. 5 (March 6).
2020 (COVID-shortened season): ITA Scholar-Athlete... Academic All-PacWest honoree... Posted a 5-2 singles record (3-2 at #5, 2-0 at #6)... Played one match of doubles in which she and partner April Wong claimed a 6-0 victory at position #3 against rival Biola.
2019 (Freshman): As a true freshman appeared in six singles matches and five doubles matches... Finished with a 3-2 record in singles play and a 5-0 record in doubles with partner Courtney Page… Won all five doubles matches she appeared in, in the number three spot… Defeated Western New Mexico University (March 12) in a singles match 6-0, 6-0… Won her doubles match with Courtney Page that same day 6-1... Selected to Academic All-PacWest.
High School: Four-year varsity athlete for the South Hills High School girls tennis team.
Personal: Born October 4, 1999… Daughter of Katia and Franco Betancourt... One older sister (Tatiana Betancourt) who played on the women’s tennis team and graduated in 2018 from APU… majoring in criminal justice.
