Azusa Pacific University Athletics

THIS YEAR: Suviste is set to make an immediate impact as a freshman for the Cougars as part of a trio of newcomers to the Cougar roster. She is the first Estonian in the women’s tennis program’s history to compete for Azusa Pacific.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Audentes International School after being at Rafa Nadal Academy from 2018 to 2021… Reached a career-high juniors ranking of 1,172 in the world in 2021… Qualified for the J5 in Giza, Egypt on clay with three consecutive wins in straight-sets over Egyptian players... Played a J5 in Montevideo, Uruguay on clay in 2019 and reached the semifinals before falling to Argentine Lucia Peyre, who reached a career high ranking of 579 in the world on the WTA and now plays for Oklahoma State
 
PERSONAL: Born on September 10, 2004, to Raivo and Katrin Suviste in Tallinn, Estonia… Has one older brother, Uku… Studying kinesiology… Plays right-handed… After graduation, desires to get masters in Sports Management ad Physical Therapy and work in athletics… Enjoys winter sports and traveling.
