2008 (Sophomore):  Saw action in 10 dual matches, providing mid-season stability by appearing in 8 consecutive contests ... Went undefeated in 6 matches at No. 3 doubles, winning 5 times with Lindsey Cloninger and scoring a late-season victory when paired with Kim Tran ... Was 8-2 in singles play, which included 6 victories over GSAC rivals ... Registered a pair of perfect 6-0, 6-0 singles wins in victories over Hope International and Alberta.
 
2007 (Freshman): Played in 20 of 22 matches for her first taste of collegiate action ... Finished her freshman campaign with an 11-5 singles record and a 4-1 doubles tally ... Won 6 of 9 matches in GSAC play and pushed 2 additional conference matches to 3 sets ... Constructed her best individual performance against The Master's, winning 8-0 at No. 3 doubles then claiming a 6-2, 6-1 No. 4 singles win in her only match of the year in which she played above the No. 5 spot in the singles lineup.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 3 varsity seasons for head coach Wayne Sasaki at Hawaii Baptist Academy in Honolulu ... As a 2006 senior, was named team MVP ... Twice led the Eagles to the round of 16 in state competition.
 
PERSONAL:  Born March 1, 1988 in Hawaii to Thomas and Deborah Lau ... Is the oldest of 3 children ... Majoring in communication with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing ... Would like to be an event coordinator after graduation.
