THIS YEAR:  Highly-touted freshman Taryn Caylor is set for a promising collegiate career … Chose Azusa Pacific over other top NAIA programs, including Westmont … Has a knack for the game and an uncanny ability to score goals … Reads the game well … Is already working well with the other forwards in the line-up and fits into the system … Could make a push for a starting spot. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 3 varsity seasons at Norman (Okla.) High School for head coach Bob Byers … Named all state as a 2004 senior after scoring 5 goals and assisting on 5 others and leading the Tigers to the 2004 state championship … Led the Tigers to 3 straight Oklahoma state championship matches … Scored 26 goals and had 35 assists in 3 seasons … Won a pair of state club championships and played in 4 straight state club championship matches. 

PERSONAL:  Born Nov. 21, 1985 in San Jose, Calif., to James and Lisa Caylor … Has 2 younger brothers (Kyle and Jeremy) … Undecided in a major … Enjoys reading, watching movies and is actively involved in her church youth group.
