THIS YEAR:  Freshman Tara Donavanik joins Azusa Pacific with years of experience under current Cougar coaches at the club and high school levels … Is a very technical player who is good on the ball … Should push for minutes as an outside back. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 4 varsity seasons for head coach Scott Mocabee, who is also an Azusa Pacific assistant coach, at South Hills High in West Covina, Calif. … Earned a pair of all-league honors and helped lead the Huskies to a share of the San Antonio League title as a 2006 senior … In her 2 years as a team captain, helped guide South Hills to a 2-year mark of 29-10-5.
