THIS YEAR: Redshirt sophomore defender Sarah Goodwin enters her third season with the Azusa Pacific women’s soccer program after appearing in four matches during the 2025 season ... Will look to continue competing for increased playing time while providing versatility as an outside back and winger.
2025 (redshirt freshman): Appeared in 4 matches as a redshirt freshman ... Made her collegiate debut against Fresno Pacific, recording a shot on goal in 25 minutes of action ... Also saw action against Biola, Dominican (Calif.) and Western Washington.
2024 (freshman): Redshirted her true freshman season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 years of varsity soccer for Head Coach Luis Osuna at West Covina (Calif.) High ... Competed at forward and midfield for the Bulldogs and served as a team captain for 2 seasons ... Earned All-Valle Vista League first team honors and was named the team’s Offensive MVP as a freshman, junior and senior ... Helped West Covina post a 9-5 record and advance to the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 playoffs during her freshman season ... Did not compete as a sophomore because of injury ... Played four years of club soccer for Sporting California ECNL under Head Coach David Baillie, competing at outside back and winger.
