THIS YEAR: Graduate midfielder Maleah Tarin joins the Azusa Pacific women’s soccer program after spending 4 years at NCAA DII Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. … A knowledgeable central midfielder, brings extensive starting experience and multiple All-East Coast Conference honors to the Cougar midfield.
MERCY: Played 2 seasons for the Mavericks under Head Coach Jack Nicholson … Appeared in 36 games in her Mercy career, starting 28 … Scored 5 goals and assisted on 2 others … Earned All-East Coast Conference third team honors as a 2025 sophomore after appearing in 19 matches with 15 starts and logging 1,141 minutes … Scored 1 goal and added 1 assist, both coming in a 3-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom … Recorded 15 shots with 8 on goal … Did not compete during the 2024 season due to injury … Earned All-ECC second team recognition as a 2023 redshirt-freshman after appearing in 17 matches with 13 starts, finishing the season with 4 goals, 1 assist and 9 points over 1,150 minutes … Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Queens and a 2-1 decision vs. Staten Island … Finished fourth on the team in both goals and points … Was twice named ECC Rookie of the Week and earned one ECC Honor Roll selection … Did not compete in 2022 after suffering a torn ACL.
