CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Senior midfielder Lauren Lane was one of just 2 4-year starters for Azusa Pacific in 2009, moving into the midfield after spending her first 3 seasons as an outside defender ... Played in 84 games over 4 seasons, starting 70 contests … Started in all 26 of Azusa Pacific’s postseason games the past 4 years, helping the Cougars to an .846 postseason winning percentage during that stretch.
 
2009 (Senior): Was 1 of 5 players who started all 22 games of the season … Scored 2 goals and 4 assists to earn her first career All-GSAC honor, along with NAIA All-American third team recognition as a central midfielder … Also earned NAIA All-Tournament honors for her performance in Azusa Pacific’s third run in 4 years to the national semifinals … Registered her first career goal, a “golden goal” game-winner in double-overtime of a 1-0 road win over The Master’s … Also scored the Cougars’ lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Point Loma Nazarene in the GSAC Tournament semifinals … Assisted 2 goals to help rally the Cougars to a 3-1 GSAC win over Biola.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 1 varsity season for head coach Ed Bell at Upland High after sitting out her junior season due to an injury ... Scored the game-winning goal to complete an unbeaten campaign (27-0-4) for the Highlanders with a 2-1 victory over Harvard-Westlake in the CIF-Southern Section Division I championship game ... Named All-Baseline League second team ... Helped Upland earn the national No. 1 ranking by Student Sports for winter girls soccer and a final No. 2 national ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
