Biography
THIS YEAR: Graduate student forward Lauren Grissom enters her second season at Azusa Pacific after transferring from Tarleton State prior to the 2025 campaign … Brings extensive collegiate experience to the Cougar attack after competing at both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels … Will look to build on her first season with Azusa Pacific while providing experience and leadership in the final third.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 seasons of varsity soccer at Del Norte High School in San Diego, Calif. … Finished her career with 62 points on 23 goals and 16 assists … Scored 8 goals and added 8 assists as a junior while helping Del Norte finish third in the Palomar League and win the CIF Division I championship with a 12-5-3 record … Helped the Nighthawks reach the CIF Open Division quarterfinals in 2018 and 2019 … Named team MVP as a freshman and served as team captain during her senior season … Played club soccer for Slammers FC and was selected to the ECNL (Elite Club National League) Player Development Program as a sophomore … Was the runner-up for the San Diego Surf Cup “Best of the Best” award in 2021 … Also competed in cross country.
