THIS YEAR: Senior All-GSAC defender Kelly Goudge returns for her final season as a key member of the Cougars’ stifling defense … Has rounded into one of the top marking backs in the NAIA … Has started 57 of 56 games in 3 seasons and will once again anchor the defense with Bays and Coe … Has the ability to attack from the back … Good understanding of the game.
2003: Started all 20 games in the Cougar defense … Earned her first-ever All-GSAC honor as one of the GSAC’s top marking backs … Tallied her lone assist of the season in the Cougars’ win over Hope International.
2002: Appeared in 19 of the Cougars’ 20 contests, starting all 19 … Tallied a pair of assists for her first collegiate points … Notched 1 assist in the Cougars’ 6-1 win over Fresno Pacific and another in a 5-1 win at Christian Heritage.
2001: Was a steady marking defender the entire season for the Cougars’ record-breaking defense that allowed just 7 goals and posted 13 shutouts … Started 17 of the 18 games in which she played … Found her way into the attack a few times, firing a pair of shots against Biola.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 seasons for Shelby Elliott at Arcadia (Calif.) High School … Led the Apaches to 4 straight Pacific League championships … Was a 4-time All-Pacific League first team selection … Earned All-CIF recognition as a 2001 senior … Played for the Claremont Stars club team with current teammate Stephanie Bays.
