CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:  Senior defender Karen Lawrence was a standout in the midfield for Azusa Pacific, appearing in 51 games over the past 3 seasons … Registered career scoring totals of 2 goals (both game-winners) and 10 assists.
 
2008 (Senior):  After her junior campaign was cut short due to injury, returned as a senior to earn All-GSAC recognition for her play … Appeared in all 22 games, starting 20 times … Helped hold together a midfield unit that fueled Azusa Pacific’s high-powered offense, an attack that generated nearly 4 goals per game and generated a 493-112 margin in total shots … Assisted 3 goals in the first 3 games of the campaign as the Cougars won all 3 by a combined 21-1 score … Was a vital part of the team’s defensive effort that surrendered just 14 goals in 22 games, including just 5 in the season’s first 12 games.
 
2007 (Junior):  Started in 4 of the 6 games she appeared before suffering a season-ending injury just 3 weeks into her 2007 junior season … Registered her only assist on a cross to the head of Bridget Brotherton for the game-winner in a 2-0 win over Graceland (Iowa).
 
2006 (Sophomore):  Was named the 2006 NAIA Tournament Outstanding Defensive Player and earned all-tournament recognition for her standout defensive play for the national runner-up Cougars … Started all 23 games of Azusa Pacific’s 21-2 campaign … Scored a pair of goals, both game-winners, and assisted 6 more … Drilled a 30-yard free kick 6 minutes into overtime for a “golden goal” that lifted Azusa Pacific to a 1-0 win over Vanguard … Curled a corner kick in with less than 10 minutes remaining for the game-winning score in the Cougars’ 3-1 NAIA semifinal win over Concordia (Ore.).
 
CAL POLY POMONA (Freshman):  Played her 2003 freshman campaign for head coach Paul Caligiuri, a U.S. National Team veteran and U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame inductee … Scored 3 goals and collected 2 assists to help the Broncos to a 10-8-1 mark … Played in all 19 games, starting 9 times.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 3 seasons of varsity soccer for head coach Ed Bell at Upland High … Helped lead the Highlanders to a second-place finish in the Baseline League as a 2003 senior … Twice earned All-Baseline League second team honors.
