THIS YEAR:  Sophomore defender Jasmine De La Fuente looks to have a more defined role with the Cougars after developing late during late last year.. 

2007: Came on late over the course of her 2007 freshman season, appeared in 4 late-season games, all off the bench ... Scored a goal in the Cougars' 5-0 victory over Hope International (10/24) in her first collegiate appearance ...  Played a season-high 20 minutes in a blowout win over Westmont.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 4 varsity seasons for head coach and former Cougar Abdiel Alvarez at Capital Christian High in Sacramento, Calif. … Helped lead the Cougars to a 3-year unbeaten streak in Golden Empire League play … Was named league co-MVP as a senior after helping Capital Christian claim back-to-back CIF San Joaquin Section titles … Also lettered in basketball and volleyball for the Cougars. 

PERSONAL:  Born Aug. 7, 1989, in Woodland, Calif., to Juan and Ana De La Fuente … Has 2 brothers and 1 sister … Cousin Chris Navarro played basketball at Bethany … Taking courses in pre-medicine and would like to attend medical school after graduation.
