THIS YEAR: Junior Emily Cherry returns to soccer after sitting out last year with her first season at Azusa Pacific … Joined the Cougars in spring of 2026 … A 5-foot-4 center midfielder, brings collegiate experience that at the very least will add quality depth to the Cougar midfield.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played 2 seasons of soccer for Head Coach Tim Tracey at Citrus College in Glendora, Calif. … Played center midfielder during the 2023 and 2024 seasons and served as a team captain for 1 year … Put together a strong 2024 campaign, scoring once but tallying a team-high 10 assists … Earned All-Western State Conference first team recognition following her 2024 sophomore season when Citrus went 14-4-2 on the field … Led the Owls to a 24-9-7 record during her 2 years in the program … For her 40-game career at Citrus, registered 5 goals and 14 assists while recording 56 shots with a 50% shots-on-goal rate.
