THIS YEAR:  Junior Ellie Anderson, who has appeared in 4 games over the past 2 seasons, is looking to become a key reserve in the Cougar backfield during his 2010 junior campaign.

2009 (sophomore):  Played sparingly as a 2009 sophomore … Appeared in 3 games and had 1 assist in a 8-0 win over Menlo College in Atherton, Calif.
 
2008 (freshman):  Played sparingly as a 2008 freshman, appearing in the 8-0 victory over William Penn University of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 4 years of varsity soccer at Templeton (Calif.) High under head coach Mike Velasquez … Captained the Eagles junior and senior years … Named first-team All-Los Padres League as a 2008 senior … Was a member of the 2006 CIF champion Eagles team as a sophomore.
 
PERSONAL:  Born March 23, 1990, in Templeton, Calif., to Steve (manager) and Mary Jo (teacher) Anderson … Has an older sister (Emily) … Majoring in international business with a minor in photography … Wants to work for National Geographic in a foreign country … Enjoys hiking and wakeboarding.
